Robert Half is currently working with a client looking to fill a Payroll Administrator position. Our client is a well-established company in Markham with a dynamic team and a bright future. This Payroll Administrator will be responsible in processing the full cycle of payroll, in addition to :

Responsibilities :

• Process weekly payrolls, union, non-union and salary
• Ensure all government and 3rd party payments are issued accurately, Weekly & Monthly
• Prepare weekly journal entries pertaining to payroll
• Year End – balance, prepare and issue year end documentation for all provincial and federal requirements
• Review to ensure all new hire and terminations are processed accordingly
• Prepare record of employments and manual cheques, as needed
• Prepare T4s, T4As and pension adjustments for year-end balancing.
• Identify process improvement initiatives and define standards for new processes
• Act as back up for the Payroll Team
• Additional reasonable duties as assigned by the Management Team
