Payroll Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your expertise in payroll management while contributing to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role involves handling payroll processes for a large workforce across multiple provinces, ensuring accuracy and compliance at every step.

Responsibilities :

• Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 3,000 hourly employees across various provinces.
• Reconcile restaurant timesheets manually using Cohesion for a large number of locations.
• Manage automated payroll systems for hotel employees, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian payroll standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Utilize Ceridian Dayforce software to manage payroll processes effectively.
• Address complex payroll challenges, especially during peak periods such as bi-weekly processing days.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline payroll operations and improve workflows.
• Provide support in auditing payroll data and preparing reports as required.
• Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle payroll experience, preferably handling large-scale hourly payroll.
• Expertise in managing payroll across multiple provinces, with eligibility to work as required by local regulations.
• Proficiency in using Ceridian Dayforce payroll software.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and standards.
• Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and reconciliation.
• Experience with processing bi-weekly payroll for over 500 employees.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
