We are looking for a skilled US Payroll Administrator to join our client's in Vancouver, British Columbia. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing US payroll operations for a high-volume retail environment. This is a long-term contract position that offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to a well-established organization.
Responsibilities:
• Process and reconcile payroll data across weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly schedules.
• Address and resolve payroll-related tickets, including onboarding, terminations, role changes, and troubleshooting time card issues.
• Ensure accurate payroll remittance by performing detailed reconciliations and submissions.
• Collaborate with the US Payroll Supervisor to handle ad hoc payroll requests and support cross-border payroll operations.
• Maintain and manage communication with retail staff to ensure timely submission and processing of payroll data.
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing and troubleshooting issues.
• Create and update onboarding packages, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Perform calculations and adjustments using Excel, including formulas and VLOOKUP functions.
• Support the team with ticketing systems for tracking and resolving payroll queries.
• Provide ongoing support and training to ensure seamless payroll operations.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in payroll administration or a related field.
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and familiarity with payroll processing software.
• Strong knowledge of payroll functions, including benefit administration and payment processing.
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP functions and formula creation.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with retail staff and management.
• Experience with ticketing systems for managing and resolving payroll-related issues.
• Ability to work independently and manage high volumes of payroll data efficiently.
• US payroll experience, including knowledge of state-specific regulations, is preferred but not required.
