Senior Mechanical Engineer - Healthcare Buildings
Report to the Manager of the Buildings Healthcare Sector in the Mechanical and Electrical Business Line. This role focuses on design of healthcare-related projects, with exposure to other sectors of the M&E business as required.

What you’ll do :
Lead complex mechanical design projects from concept to completion, applying professional engineering expertise.Ensure design complies with National, Provincial and Municipal codes and standards.Develop design documents for HVAC, piping, steam, plumbing & drainage, fire protection, fuel oil, medical gases and building automation systems.Research & implement innovative technologies and industry-specific software.Manage contract administration and client service monitoring.Mentor junior and intermediate team members.Coordinate with agencies for approvals and permitting where necessary.Participate in proposal preparation activities.What you’ll bring :
Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent.10+ years of consulting mechanical design engineering experience in Canadian healthcare buildings, including Class A complex projects.Strong knowledge of mechanical systems in healthcare facilities.Proficient in CSA Z317.1 and CSA Z317.2 standards.Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.LEED accreditation or sustainable design experience desirable.Proficiency with AutoCAD, Carrier Hourly Analysis (HAP) software, Microsoft Office; MEP Revit desirable.Experience with P3 projects and Bluebeam Studio desirable.Benefits :
