We have grown to be British Columbia's largest precision sheet metal manufacturer, supplying the Electronics, Printing, Medical Device, Power Switching, and Test / Measurement industries.
Wesgar is looking for a Sales Development Representative to support sales growth in a niche manufacturing environment. This role works closely with sales and marketing to ensure inbound leads and RFQs are handled quickly, opportunities don’t stall due to lack of follow-up, and we build relationships in the market through targeted outreach and in-person networking.
This is a structured role with clear expectations. Inbound lead flow can fluctuate, and outbound is targeted rather than high-volume. Success comes from follow-through, organization, and consistent execution.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to and qualify inbound marketing leads and inquiries promptly
- Support RFQ intake and coordination, including handoff to estimating and follow-up on open items
- Track open quotes and follow-up activity in HubSpot to keep opportunities moving
- Conduct targeted outreach to existing customers to identify additional opportunities and support account growth
- Conduct targeted outreach to defined prospects where there is a clear fit (no mass cold calling)
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and relevant business groups (e.g., Chamber of Commerce and industry events) to build relationships and surface opportunities
- Maintain accurate CRM records and support improvements to our lead-to-opportunity process
What we’re looking for
