Program / Position overview :

The Family Specialist is responsible for the delivery of family support services to families in the Bridges Program at Unlimited Potential Community Services to facilitate family unification and preservation. Family Support Services are provided in the home and in the community to preserve the family as a unit, ensure child safety and family well-being. Support is given to families through empowerment, hands on in the moment teaching, skill development, providing information on child development, and helping families develop an individual network of resources in their community. Family Support Workers provide integral support to families working towards family reunification through their involvement with supported Family visits. Family Support is immediate in nature and has a practical base.
