Apprentice 3rd or 4th Year Heavy Duty Mechanic

We are looking for an Apprentice 3rd or 4th Year Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our Summit Truck & Equipment Repair team in the West Kootenays, just a 30 minute commute from Castlegar, BC. The successful candidate will perform a combination of off-road heavy equipment field repairs and in the shop highway truck and trailer work.

POSITION BENEFITS

• Wage is $30-32 per hour, depending on apprenticeship level and experience.
• Flexible work schedule options - either 5 on / 2 off OR 4 on / 4 off rotation. No night shifts!
• Excellent work / life balance – enjoy 4 straight days off in the Kootenays every week with the 4&4 shift option.
