We are seeking a Technical Delivery Lead with a strong background in program and project management, particularly within cloud and data technologies, to join our Financial, Industrial, and Technology (FIT+) Business Unit (BU).

Reporting to the Vice President of Delivery, this high visibility, executive-facing role involves leading technical projects, fostering collaboration across internal, client, and third party teams, identifying and acting upon business development opportunities, and ensuring successful project delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead and Manage Technical Projects : independently lead, motivate, and manage diverse teams on cloud and data technology projects, ensuring successful delivery on time, within scope, and on budget
  • Technical Oversight : partner with tech leads to provide strong leadership throughout the project lifecycle; leverage familiarity with cloud architecture, data strategies, and modern infrastructure to guide teams towards successful implementation
  • Client Engagement : act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring that project goals align with business objectives, and client expectations are managed and met throughout the engagement
  • Agile Project Management : serve as Scrum Master to lead Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.

Adapt Agile methodologies to suit the technical nature of the project and ensure continuous improvement

  • Traditional / Waterfall Project Management : act as a traditional Program / Project Manager to originate waterfall / gantt project plans to ensure end-to-end transparency and alignment on delivery dates, milestones accountability and dependencies
  • Stakeholder Communication : facilitate clear and effective communication among all stakeholders, including technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior management.

Adjust communication styles based on audience needs

  • Risk and Issue Management : proactively identify, track, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely mitigation and resolution
  • Process Improvement : continuously analyze and propose improvements to delivery processes and best practices, leveraging technical expertise and lessons learned from previous projects
  • Team Leadership and Mentorship : provide guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities for a team of direct reports.

Foster a collaborative environment that supports personal growth and high performance

  • Vendor and Partner Management : work with external vendors, securing required services and managing relationships to ensure project success
  • Project Reporting : utilize project management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.) to provide accurate, data-driven reporting and ensure visibility into project progress and status

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Experience : 7+ years of project management experience with a strong technical background, particularly in cloud and data technologies (Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Google Cloud, Salesforce Cloud, etc.)
  • Technical Expertise : familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud architecture, and data strategies, including technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, and Citrix
  • Web Development : strong experience managing web and app design and development projects, including a handle on front-end and back-end development task sequencing and dependency management
  • Certifications : PMP and Scrum Master certifications a plus
  • Proven Success : demonstrated experience successfully delivering large-scale, complex digital projects, such as cloud migrations and data platform implementations, with durations of 9+ months and budgets exceeding $1MM
  • Leadership : experience managing and mentoring teams, with a track record of leading high-performing, cross-functional project teams
  • Tools : proficient in using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, and MS Project
  • Agility : expertise in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, with a proven ability to adapt and apply the appropriate approach based on the specific needs of the project and client
  • Client-Focus : skilled at developing strong client relationships and managing client expectations effectively
  • Industry Knowledge : experience working in regulated environments such as financial services, industrial, government as well as a basic familiarity with compliance frameworks such as PCI, Sarbanes-Oxley, and / or CAN-SPAM
  • Travel : some travel may be required for client initiation, key delivery milestones and company gatherings

Individual pay is determined by many factors, including experience, relevant education or training, and organizational needs.

The mid-range to maximum of the salary range is generally reserved for individuals who are highly experienced in the role.
