Major Job Responsibilities
Ownership of industry related KPIs and provide data driven insights to help drive a positive business outcome.
Collaborate on presentations and projects with a focus on those insights.
Data Driven Industry Insights duties :
Collect, clean, and manipulate datasets from multiple sources and ensure data integrity and reliability and report KPIs to different business units / industries.
Develop and maintain data inputs, dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Excel and Power BI to communicate insights and findings effectively.
Perform in-depth analysis of business performance metrics including customer analytics and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
Be able to efficiently collaborate with multiple teams / stakeholders to define which KPIs are suitable to present and establish benchmarks for measuring success.
Collects financial data and summary information for use in management reporting for executive level presentations across the organization and to Caterpillar.
Reviews results to identify key trends, variances, opportunities for continuous improvement, and measure financial results against targets and impact on organizational budget.
Conduct ad-hoc analysis as required for in-depth Market Segment and Customer analysis. Proactively identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to uncover actionable insights and drive data-driven decision-making.
Other duties :
Work with cross-functional teams to contribute to Caterpillar 'excellence' certifications, including 'service and / or sales excellence' and 'digital excellence.'
Collaborating with industry sales teams and support functions as well as Caterpillar to achieve overall strategic, operational, and financial goals.

Mandatory (Must-Have) Skills :
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.
1-2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field, preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
