Mechanic Diesel 514 – Purolator Inc.

Location : Edmonton North Depot, 17718 114 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB, T5S 2N4

Shift : Monday to Friday 10 : 00am – 6 : 30pm (40 hours / week)

Pay Rate : $47.58 / hour

Job Description

The Diesel Mechanic inspects, maintains, diagnoses, and repairs assigned on‑ / off‑road and heavy duty equipment to ensure proper function and vehicle safety and meet quality and performance goals.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair on‑ / off‑road and heavy duty vehicles and equipment to meet preventative maintenance schedules, ensure proper function, and meet vehicle safety and quality goals.
• Assist with entering data in the mechanic’s maintenance and repair database (e.g., Web Fleet Assistant (WFA)).
• Communicate concerns or escalation of problems to the Foreman or other manager.
• Respond to service calls for equipment breakdowns when a supervisor is unavailable.
