Wheatbelt Mental Health Service has four Hubs – Northam, Narrogin, Gingin and Merredin

This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, and Fixed Term Full Time, Permanent Part Time, and Fixed Term Part Time with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. Casual appointments may also be considered.

About the OPPORTUNITY

Provides specialised mental health services for children and adolescents and their families in the Wheatbelt Mental Health Region, as part of an integrated, multidisciplinary team.

To be successful in this role, you will have…

Recent experience as a community based mental health practitioner

  • Knowledge and understanding of emotional, behavioural, psychological and psychiatric disorders of children and adolescents.
  • Demonstrated ability in assessment and providing treatment/interventions for children and adolescents with mental health problems, within the context of their families.
  • Well developed communication, liaison and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Eligible for / or in possession of a current C or C‐A Class drivers licence
