Our client based in Canada is looking to add a Smart Plant (S3D) consultant to their team. This a contract opportunity with the possibility to be a long term project.
Job Responsibilities :
- Configure Hexagon S3D application in accordance with client and / or project standard(s) including but not limited to; System configuration, Drawings and Reports, Batch manager, SPR, Clash Detection, etc.
- Perform S3D version upgrades and associated functional acceptance testing
- Install product software, hot fixes, and patches (may require working with client IT group)
- Setup and manage S3D user groups, user profiles, access permissions
- Setup, configure and manage S3D scheduled services / procedures (e.g., backups, design checkers, etc.)
- Working with system integration expert (e.g., solution architect, asset data warehouse SME / admin) assist in developing data interfaces and / or integration methods and processes to integrate data between S3D and other business systems
Required Skills :
- 8-10 years proven direct experience administering and supporting S3D within an Owner Operator and / or EPC environment
- Firm understanding of engineering business processes and the application of S3D on capital projects and within operations
- Working knowledge and experience with programming languages such as Visual Basic and / or C#
- Understanding and working knowledge of relational database storage systems such as Microsoft SQL and / or Oracle
- Understanding of the engineering information lifecycle and how this supports Engineering, Construction, C&SU, Operations, Maintenance & Reliability
