Job description

What if you could redefine what's possible? With us, you can.

You want Purpose . Growth . Opportunity. People who get it.

We are the home of ambitious, passionate, and innovative world shapers.

With an unmatched breadth and depth of engineering, advisory and science-based expertise, our global minds unite to power local solutions. We are pathfinders and impact makers.

We are Visioneers . We are WSP .

The Opportunity

Shape the World Around You - As a Regional Project Implementation Manager for our Corporate Real Estate portfolio, you'll be the regional go-to partner for workplace projects that matter - from new offices and relocations to right-sizing and closures. You'll work closely with the Director of Project Management and business line leaders to plan, design, and deliver efficient, future-ready workplaces that support our people and our clients.

You see the big picture and sweat the details. In this role, you'll lead and mentor a regional project team, standardize how we deliver projects across markets, and raise the bar on service quality while balancing timelines, budgets, sustainability, and the employee experience.

Your Impact

  • Partner with the Director of Project Management to shape the strategy and execution of Corporate Real Estate projects in your region, balancing efficiency, cost, and client needs.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of planning, design, construction, relocation, right-sizing, and closure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, on budget, and to a high standard of quality.
  • Set and uphold service standards for Corporate Real Estate and Facilities Management projects, enabling a strong quality-of-service focus across your regional portfolio.
  • Streamline how work gets done by recommending and implementing processes, tools, and ways of working that improve team efficiency and consistency across markets.
  • Identify and resolve project issues by assessing risks, developing options, and making recommendations that support continuous improvement with a national and global mindset.
  • Lead change management in partnership with the Change Management Lead to ensure project outcomes are adopted, understood, and deliver the intended impact for employees and leaders.
  • Manage, coach, and mentor the Regional Corporate Real Estate Project team , building a strong, service-driven culture and holding team members accountable to established policies and expectations.
  • Build strong relationships with local, regional, and national leaders, acting as a trusted advisor on Corporate Real Estate, workplace strategy, and facilities-related initiatives.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and schedules that optimize costs while ensuring feasibility, clarity, and alignment with business priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with Procurement, Finance, and other Corporate Services teams (HSE, Legal, Marketing, etc.) to ensure compliance with company policies, accurate accounting treatments, and rigorous supplier management.
  • Promote sustainability and HSE compliance by fostering energy reduction and sustainable practices and managing corrective measures stemming from audits and assessments.
  • Liaise with other Project Implementation Managers nationally and globally to drive consistency of service delivery and share best practices.

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • You have a degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Engineering / Management (or equivalent), paired with over 5 years of experience in a Construction, Design, or Project Management environment delivering complex projects.
  • You bring a strong understanding of construction processes, terminology, and drawings , and you're comfortable reviewing contractor quotations, budgets, and schedules.
  • You're proficient with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office , and you use these tools to translate concepts into clear plans, layouts, and project documentation.
  • You have proven experience developing, monitoring, and adjusting budgets, cash flows, and schedules on multi-stakeholder projects.
  • You demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset - proactively identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and services, and not being afraid to challenge the status quo.
  • You thrive in a dynamic environment, prioritizing multiple demands and shifting priorities , while maintaining a strong sense of urgency and accountability for outcomes.
  • You exercise sound judgement and independent decision-making , while keeping open lines of communication with executives, stakeholders, and your team.
  • You are bilingual in English and French , enabling you to work effectively with partners and colleagues across Canada who may speak only one of these languages (a firm requirement for this role).
  • You are willing and able to travel , as required, to support regional project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
  • Why Choose WSP?
