Job Summary
The Safety Administrator & Lytx Compliance Coordinator plays a key role in supporting OSCO’s safety programs and fleet compliance activities. This position oversees documentation management, telematics and camera system administration, chemical safety compliance, and driver qualification tracking. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working with digital systems and safety databases. This role ensures safety standards are met across operations while contributing to a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Fleet Safety & Lytx Program Administration:
- Administer and maintain the Lytx portal, including:
- Reviewing and categorizing camera footage for safety events
- Updating driver records and compliance statuses
- Monitor telematics data to ensure fleet compliance and performance tracking
- Prepare and distribute monthly safety and compliance reports
Document Control & Safety Program Maintenance:
- Maintain organized and accurate safety documentation in digital repositories (e.g., SharePoint), ensuring proper version control
- Update safety programs and procedures in alignment with regulatory and internal requirements
- Support organizational learning initiatives by maintaining Microsoft HCM learning records
- Provide administrative support for ISNetworld, ensuring contractor and employee training compliance
Chemical Safety & MSDS Administration:
- Oversee chemical safety compliance across multiple operating sites
- Manage the MSDS Velocity E Binder system, including chemical inventory, updates, and distribution
Procurement & Safety Inventory Management:
- Coordinate purchasing for safety-related equipment and materials
- Track and maintain inventory levels for safety supplies
Driver Records Management:
- Maintain driver qualifications, including licenses and abstracts
- Monitor driver compliance and verify alignment with approved drivers listed in Lytx
- Regularly update and audit driver qualification files
Additional Duties:
- Perform other duties or support tasks, as assigned
Technical Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline (certificate, diploma, or degree) is preferred
- High school diploma with at least 3 years of experience in safety administration, fleet compliance, or transportation safety
- Minimum 3 years in fleet, transportation safety, or related safety roles
- Experience with systems such as ISNetworld, Lytx, and MSDS Velocity E-Binder
- Ability to learn and manage safety databases and digital repositories (e.g., SharePoint)
Business Requirements
- Strong computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, SharePoint)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail, especially in documentation and compliance monitoring
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
