Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with extensive experience in Finance Systems and the Insurance industry , particularly in Property and Casualty (P&C) . The role involves analyzing business requirements, developing functional specifications, and ensuring compliance with insurance accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business requirements for Finance systems.
• Conduct gap analysis and develop functional specifications for system changes.
• Ensure compliance with insurance accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business processes align with IFRS17, OFSI, GISA, and Facility Association standards.
• Apply knowledge of Guidewire principles (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) in system design.
• Work with Mainframe constructs and understand their application in Finance systems.
• Understand ETL processes and their role in data processing.
• Write and optimize SQL scripts for data extraction and analysis.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation for management and stakeholders.
• Hands-on BA responsibilities : writing requirements, creating user stories, process mapping, data modeling, maintaining data dictionaries, and functional documentation.
• Use tools such as Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word to communicate findings and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support problem-solving and decision-making initiatives.
