Accounts Receivable Clerk / Deductions Analyst (Hybrid)
Position Summary
Responsible for account reconciliations and analysis of customer receivable accounts, working frequently with teams from various departments as well as internal and external customers.
Essential Job Functions
- Research customer deductions and directly communicate with Collections Specialist, Customer Service Teams and Warehouse personnel to either resolve issues by collecting balances due with charge backs or review for potential credit memos.
- Identify discrepancies and facilitate resolutions related to the following common issues : short-pays, credits and accessorial disputes.
- Administer approved write offs, partial payments and settlements for month end as well as periodically reviewing account status and updating records to reflect activity.

Qualifications
- Education Requirements High School Diploma or GEDBachelor’s degree preferred
- Prior Experience 1 year of Accounts Receivable or DeductionsExperience working with Big Box Distribution is a plus.
- Hard Skills Proficient in MS Excel including basic formulas and VLookup (Pivot Tables not required but preferred)Knowledge of AS400Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Knowledge of Skype / Zoom
- Soft Skills Ability to work with diverse teamsExcellent communication skills, ability interface with internal and external customersAbility to work well independently and prioritize tasksAbility to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and simultaneously manage multiple demands.
