Job DutiesInclude :
- Coordinatingand supporting all aspects of sales activities including takinginitial inquiries generating leads proposals blocking spacereferrals and contracts
- Process proposals andcontracts as required
- Coordinate specificmarketing initiatives involving RevenueStreams
- After appropriate training anddevelopment participate in site inspections familiarization tourstrade shows and functions within the hotel as required and in theabsence of the Sales Manager
- Be an effectiveteam player within the Sales team of Canadas Western MountainRegion and with other team members in Catering and ConventionsGuest Services Food and Beverage and other key areas within thehotel and the region
- Actively seekopportunities to improve systems and procedures whilst consistentlyoffering professional and engagingservice
Qualifications :
- One yearsexperience in a hotel environment ideally within Sales ReservationsConference Services or Front Office
- Excellentwritten and verbal communicationskills
- Knowledge of Opera Sales &Catering / Opera Sales Force Automation and Property Manager areassets
- Ability to meetdeadlines working in a fastpacedenvironment
