Veterinary Surgeon, Small Animal Surgery

Location : Kelowna / Lake Country, BC

Tri Lake Animal Hospital & Referral Centre is welcoming a Board-Certified Small Animal Surgeon to join our growing team.

Tri Lake is situated in the heart of the Okanagan Valley, nestled between stunning lakes and beautiful mountains, it is surrounded by inviting orchards and tantalizing vineyards.

Our centralized location, in the Interior of British Columbia, also provides us with access to the National Parks that span the BC / AB border to the east, as well as the Canadian Pacific Coastline to the west.

We have been serving the Okanagan Valley and beyond for nearly 40 years, and house expanding specialty services including rehabilitation & pain management, dermatology, behaviour, and incoming internal medicine, along with a bustling general practice.

Our caseload is rapidly rising thanks to referrals from throughout BC and a sustained increase in population within our referral area.

We are further committed to expanding our ER department to 24 / 7 services, as well as actively recruiting for Surgery, Critical Care and eventually Radiology.

Compensation : The annual salary range for this position is $220,000 to $250,000. This position is eligible for a production program.

The annual salary range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.

The Facilities :

The hospital is a 16,500 sq ft purpose-built facility with eight exam rooms, spacious treatment floor, four ORs (3 reserved for referral surgery), one dental suite, one endoscopy suite, in-house 64-slice CT scanner, Sound SmartDR+CsI with hands-free radiology equipment and trained staff, Philips Affiniti 70 Ultrasound unit (as well as a portable Esoate unit), well-equipped in-house lab, supported by three external laboratories within BC, and fully stocked surgical inventory, including arthroscopy equipment will purchase additional equipment to suit your special interests and expand service offerings!
