Amii (Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute) is hiring a Machine Learning Resident for a 1‑year residency that may lead to a full‑time role with Thrive Career Wellness. The role is paid and includes mentorship from an Amii Scientist.

About the Role
This paid residency will run for twelve months, with the potential to be hired by our client, Thrive Career Wellness, afterwards at the client’s discretion. The Resident will report to an Amii Scientist and regularly consult and work with partners to share insights and engage in knowledge transfer activities.

What You'll Work On
The AI Career Guide project by Thrive aims to provide personalized career guidance through conversational interfaces and recommendation engines. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will design and implement large language models (LLMs) and agents that power these tools.
