Who we need
Education
University degree in social work, public health, community engagement or health promotion or a combination of relevant education and experience
Experience
2-3 years’ experience in health care, health promotion or community engagement context
Experience working with people with lived experience in a meaningful and respectful manner.
Experience in customer services or managing public inquires in health setting.
Knowledge of and application of health equity and reconciliation lens to advocate for systems change.
Advocacy to create systems and community change.
Skills
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong facilitation skills
Comfort and ability working in a cross-functional team
Ability to work independently and pro-actively
Ability to influence decision makers and lead / engage small and large groups to support current initiatives / activities
