Job Description
The Sr. Salesforce Commerce Cloud developer will help implement new E-Commerce initiatives, collaborate on new technical and optimization strategies, and support the technical facilitation of e-commerce efforts.
We are looking for candidates who have experience deploying production features, optimizing performance, and fixing production issues in SFRA.
You will be working within a team of developers and business stakeholders to implement, extend and maintain the E-Commerce website.
What You'll Do :
- Build, extend and support both new and existing features on Salesforce Commerce Cloud
- Ensure production implementations are scalable, observable and durable
- Work with Product Owners and business stakeholders to understand end-user requirements, formulate user stories and then translate those into pragmatic and effective technical solutions.
- Work closely with onsite and remote frontend, backend and operations engineers to ensure deliverables are well-documented, secure and resilient.
Qualifications
Let's Talk About You :
- 2+ years of hands-on experience implementing production-ready features on SFRA
- Strong understanding of modern JavaScript development and best practices
- Strong understanding of CSS including preprocessors (SCSS, Sass)
- Experience developing and extending models, ISML templates, JS controllers and scripts in SFRA
- Experience extending system objects as well as creating and extending custom objects in SFCC
- Hands on experience with 3rd party integrations and web services framework in SFCC
- Experience developing components and pages for Page Designer
- Strong understanding of caching principles in SFRA
- Experience using Log Center, CCAC Dashboard and Service Status to debug production issues and performance
- Understanding of cross-browser testing
- Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries like Bootstrap and jQuery
- Strong understanding of front-end web development best practices
- Strong understanding of site speed principles, including Core Web Vitals
- Comfortable with version control (Git) and continuous integration (Azure Pipelines)
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience with React, Vue, Angular or other modern front-end frameworks and libraries (nice to have)
- Experience with headless implementations such as PWA Kit (nice to have)
