Our Client in the Manufacturing Industry is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team on a Contract Basis (2 Months) with a Possibility of Extension!

Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant in Burnaby you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of the organization :

  • Ensure transactions are accurately recorded in the general ledger in a timely manner
  • Ensure matching of revenue and cost of goods sold in order to perform margin analysis
  • Perform monthly expense review and analysis
  • Prepare and review recurring and non-recurring journal entries
  • Collaborate with the audit team on internal and external auditing
  • Work with the Controller and Leadership to provide appropriate financial management reporting and financial support on strategic projects.

Qualifications

A successful senior accountant in Burnaby will have :

  • 5+ years of Full Cycle Accounting Experience
  • CPA or Close to CPA Completion
  • Experience in fixed asset reconciliations is a STRONG Asset
