Robert Half is partnering with a large public company in Langley to assist with recruiting for their growing team! The organization has taken on several expansion projects over the last 2 years and doubled their operation in the 12–24-month period! With this growing demand and workload, the organization is rapidly increasing its headcount and as such, is currently looking to hire for a Senior Accountant position! You will be part of a large team (8+ staff) and report to the Controller and CFO. This position will work full time with options to work 1-2 days from home (per the company policy).

This position will be responsible for :

• Preparing Consolidated Financial Statements
• Analysis of Payroll, Benefits & Insurance
• Insurance renewal and administration
• Audit working paper
• Maintaining parallel Accounting Systems
• Maintaining monthly schedules and posting monthly journal entries for depreciation, leases,
• ROU, incentive plans, foreign exchange re-evaluation, intercompany transactions, elimination entries, and management fee charge out
• Preparing quarterly audit schedules
• Reviewing and explaining variances to budget on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Supporting the preparation of all public company filings including financial statements, note, financial statements, MD& A and supporting documents and schedules
• Preparing internal and external ad hoc reports and financial analysis as required
• Supporting compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
