We are seeking a Production Scheduler to plan and manage production schedules in a manufacturing environment in Niagara Falls, ON region.
Pay - $70k-$80k
Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain the master production schedule
Plan and release work orders based on demand and capacity
Review customer orders and forecasts to align production plans
Coordinate with production, engineering, and purchasing to ensure materials and data are accurate
Monitor capacity and adjust schedules as needed
Communicate schedules, priorities, and changes to production teams and management
Track performance metrics such as on-time delivery and schedule adherence
Support inventory control efforts
Identify and support improvements in scheduling and planning
Serve as the main contact for scheduling-related issues
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing scheduling role
Experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred)
Strong knowledge of production planning and capacity management
Good analytical and organizational skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
