Position Summary

We are seeking an Inventory Coordinator to join our Operations team. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate inventory levels, coordinating material orders, and supporting both production and service teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

Verify purchase requisitions and clarify unclear items

Obtain price quotations from suppliers and negotiate as needed

Order materials and maintain optimal stock levels

Adjust inventory to resolve discrepancies

Review bills of materials from the design team and ensure stock availability for new jobs

Prepare and monitor purchase orders, ensuring specifications, price, and availability

Maintain relationships with vendors to ensure quality, timely delivery, and compliance with contracts

Assist with stock management, pulling materials for jobs, and supporting shipping / receiving when required

Update production schedules and maintain accurate inventory records

Support staff in locating materials and maintaining extra or discontinued inventory

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory management, purchasing, or a related role

Proficiency in MS Office (intermediate Excel, Outlook, Word); Syspro knowledge is an asset

Strong analytical and organizational skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
