Production Lead (Rentals)

We are looking for a Production Lead for our Whitehorse YT, Location. We have a Full-Time, Seasonal position available for the period of May 2024 - September 2024 .

This role will work alongside the Rentals Manager and Housekeeping Lead to efficiently supervise the production team, specifically focusing on operational flow.

This role will assist with training and developing the detail team to provide a superior product for our customers. The position is also responsible for assisting in executing standards, quality control, and inventory management.

JOB DUTIES :

• Training and hands-on supervision of the detail, housekeeping, and production team
• Assist in scheduling and monitoring drop-offs and pick up through the season to ensure the right resources are in place
• Assisting with the preparation of RVs to be ready for rental customers
• This position involves some physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety, and be aware of all company-related practices
• Work with other Production Leads to ensure all team members are efficient, productive, and focused on quality
• Other tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS :

• Experience in RV Detailing and leading a team are an asset
• Work experience in the RV industry is an asset
• Highly organized, results-oriented, able to make decisions and empower employees to ensure that they exceed customer expectations
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and communication skills - sets an example for the team
• Proactive with a meticulous eye for detail - standards oriented
• Has a valid driver's license

WORK CONDITIONS :

• Ability to work inside and outside in all weather conditions
• Shift work required, including evenings, weekends, and early mornings
• Overtime may be required
• Ability to remain standing for long periods, to bend, twist, push, pull, and carry equipment and supplies
• Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. may be required, including snow shovelling, operating equipment, and moving parts / supplies.
