Specialty RN Training Opportunity - Perinatal
Island Health invites applications for the Specialty RN Training Opportunity - Perinatal, a regular full‑time training program that combines theory and practicum to prepare staff for this specialty department. Upon completion, the staff member will be placed into a regular full‑time rotation line.
Return of Service
There is an 18‑month return of service requirement as a regular / permanent employee within the Island Health specialty department for which they have been trained. Staff may move between Island Health departments within that specialty. The post‑basic training program requires full‑time attendance.

Reports to the Nurse Manager, Department Head, or designate. Plans and provides direct nursing care to patients / residents in the hospital or in the community in accordance with the unit / program philosophy, competency guidelines, policies, and the BCCNM Standards for Nursing Practice in British Columbia.
