We are now launching in Whistler BC. Catering to the affluent clientele, we are seeking an experienced Director of Sales to spearhead our B2B Business Development with the luxury travel trade market.Position OverviewThe Director of Sales – B2B Business Development position will be responsible for leading Jayne’s B2B sales and strategic partnerships in the global market. This key role will drive business development efforts in the luxury travel sector, focusing on building relationships with travel advisors, agencies, consortia, and other service providers, while managing an independent representation agency to maximize growth opportunities.Role ObjectivesExpand B2B Network : Build and maintain strategic relationships with travel advisors, luxury travel consortia, special interest groups, and affluent clientele service providersMaximize Representation Agency ROI : Oversee the third-party representation agency, Dominique Dubay, to drive continued market growth and optimize the agency's impact on salesRevenue Growth : Increase sales through targeted outreach, partnerships, consortia, wholesale agreements, and long-term contracts with North American partnersBrand Leadership : Establish Jayne’s Luxury Rentals as the leading choice for luxury private villa rentals in Muskoka and Whistler, and elevate Muskoka as the newest luxury global travel destinationKey ResponsibilitiesB2B Business Development : Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for North American market penetration, identifying growth opportunities in luxury travel segmentsFacilitate partnerships with travel agencies, tour operators, and luxury travel consortia (e.g., Virtuoso, Signature Travel Network)Negotiate agreements for group sales, MICE opportunities, and shoulder season bookingsAttend industry events, road shows, and international conferences (e.g., ILTM, LE Miami) to represent Jayne’s Luxury RentalsWork with the marketing team to develop media, PR, and editorial opportunities with trade publicationsRepresentation Agency Management : Manage and collaborate with the Dominique Dubay agency to maximize sales and enhance market impactAttend road shows and sales trips, including one annual trip to New York and Los AngelesWork closely with DD on training initiatives, marketing campaigns, and market-specific promotionsOrganize Fam Trips for high-potential agents during the off-season to foster stronger relationshipsSales Leadership : Drive the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring exceptional service and client satisfactionWork with internal teams (reservations, operations, marketing) to ensure seamless service delivery.Collaborate on B2B targeted campaigns and promotions with Marketing ManagerPrepare end-of-season reports on sales performance, market trends, and agency impactCritical Success Factors : Prior experience in Sales in the B2B Luxury Travel Trade industryKnowledge of the Muskoka market, the more the betterKnowledge about the HNW target guestCompensation : This is a full-time, exclusive role with Jayne’s Luxury Rentals.
