Tasks

  • Review HR directives to assure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures
  • Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards
  • Investigate workplace accidents or illnesses
  • Develop and implement health and safety plans
  • Respond to employee questions and complaints
  • Evaluate work environments, programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury
  • Suggest changes to work processes based on physical and ergonomics stresses in the workplace
  • Assess clients' cognitive, social and emotional barriers to establish adaptation goals
