About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Environmental and Hydrogeological Engineer (P.Eng) to join our client’s team based in the Windsor, ON / Detroit, MI area. This full-time role focuses on environmental assessments, compliance, and remedial design and implementation for clients across Canada and the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Phase I / II Environmental Site Assessments and RSC submissions.
- Develop remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and design / implement remediation plans (soil, groundwater, vapour).
- Prepare work plans, budgets, engineering drawings, and technical reports.
- Manage contractors and oversee fieldwork, including excess soil and vapour mitigation projects.
- Provide regulatory support (ECAs, stormwater, discharge, ROW, PTTW) and liaise with MECP and other agencies.
- Ensure compliance with federal and provincial environmental regulations.
- Perform technical problem‑solving and data analysis.
- Support project management, invoicing, and client retention activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in environmental or civil engineering.Licensed P.Eng (Ontario); P.E. (US) or in the process of obtaining, required.Minimum 5 years’ experience in environmental consulting.Strong communication, technical writing, and client‑facing skills.Familiarity with MECP, federal / provincial regulations, and working with regulators.Experience with geotechnical engineering, soil mechanics, and groundwater systems is an asset.Profit sharing and full group benefits.3 weeks’ vacation, flexible hybrid schedule, and relocation assistance available.Additional Info
