What qualifications are we looking for?

Post-secondary education is preferred

Exceptional customer service skills

Minimum of one supervisory experience

Strong conflict resolution skills

Interest in and dedication to Health and Safety policy and procedure

Current Standard First Aid and CPR C certification

Evidence of a clear Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector Search

Three professional references

What does this role look like at YMCA Calgary?

The Duty Manager - North will :

  • Provide excellent customer service;
  • Maintain facility security and safety;
  • Respond to facility emergencies, first aid requests, incidents and theft;
  • Ensure safety of members and staff in a proactive manner;
  • Be aware of all programs and facility bookings; ensuring that facilitators have all necessary resources;
  • Work in a strong team environment; providing support to busy areas, tours, set-up of program areas and anything else required to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
