Overview of The Role

We are seeking a skilled IT-OT Platform Services Analyst to join our team. This role will be part of a team responsible for planning, installing, monitoring, providing support, troubleshooting, and maintaining Saputo’s Platform Services infrastructure (including Hardware and Hypervisor management, Windows / Linux OS, compute, backup, storage, AD, DNS, data protection & retention, etc.

Expertise is required in a corporate as well as a manufacturing (OT) environment. Candidate must have the ability to collaborate and coordinate with other IT teams.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter :

System Management : Experience and knowledge in the following :

Server Hardware and storage (Dell, HP, Lenovo) in a hyperconverged configuration. Ability to install hardware and associated management tools.

Keeping Firmware and Drivers up to date. iDRAC, ILO, Cloud IQ

Hypervisor Management (VMware vSphere v7+, VSAN / NSX, Hyper-V, Azure HCI Stack, will be considered a plus)

Operating System Microsoft Windows server 2016, 2019, 2022 Linux (SUSE, RHEL)

Active Directory knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and components (DNS, DHCP, ADFS, GPO, Domain Trusts, Security, Microsoft Entra ID

Security Tools Defender for Cloud, SIEM (QRADAR, Sentinel), Micro segmentation related tools

Management Tools Azure ARC, MECM, Windows Admin Center

Database experience working with SQL Server and related database components.

Data Protection Data protection suites such as Commvault Simpana or equivalent. Disaster Recovery tools such as Zerto, SRM, Azure Backup and Azure site Recovery.

OS Patching solutions such as WSUS, MECM or Azure Update Manager.

Monitoring SolarWinds SAM, VMware Aria or VROPS, native Microsoft monitoring tools

File Transfer Management experience with protocols such as SFTP, FTPS. Advanced experience with enterprise MFT tools such as GoAnywhere MFT

Remote Access and Connectivity Experience with terminal services, Remote Desktop solutions and or enterprise grade Secure Remote Access Solutions

Networking Familiar with networking components and concepts such as LAN, WAN, DMZ

Cloud Familiar with cloud concepts such as IAAS, PAAS, SAAS and related resource management experience. Azure, AWS, GCP, IBM Cloud

Troubleshooting and Support : Diagnose and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance for both IT and OT systems.

Manages the support process and escalations to ensure efficient resumption of operational processes when issues occur, including root cause analysis in response to critical incidents, to understand, document and plan remedial actions to prevent reoccurrence.

Included in on-call after hour support rotation

Security : Monitor server and related components security measures to protect data, systems, and network integrity.

Monitoring and Optimization : Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements. Regularly update hardware / software configurations and firmware.

Documentation : Maintainaccurate documentation of system and related components configurations, procedures, and policies.

Compliance : Ensure Platform Services infrastructure complies with internal & industry standards and regulations.

Collaboration : Works with OT teams to deliver integrated change where appropriate, and to ensure that our network infrastructure is secure and robust end-to-end

You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications :

College diploma in the field of Computer Science or equivalent

Minimum 3 years of equivalent work experience in a Systems Administration position

Microsoft and or VMware certification is preferred.

Proven experience as a Platform Services Analyst, or similar role

Familiarity with operations technology (OT) and industrial control systems like Purdue model and CPWE

Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.

Familiarity with operation, management, and fault diagnosis of real time transaction processing systems

Experience with system and server asset management, including maintenance of system components, inventory and related documentation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Willingness to work beyond core business hours / on call, if necessary to minimize business interruption during planned or unplanned network / system modifications

Available for occasional travel if required.

Bilingual (English / French), both oral and written;

Ability to travel to other sites occasionally.

As part of their duties, the incumbent will have to communicate and collaborate in English, both orally and in writing with colleagues or other stakeholders in Quebec as well as in the rest of Canada or in North America.
