Robertson has an instructor accountability framework that includes instructor observation, feedback, evaluation, and development. This framework focuses on instructor accountability as part of building a strong foundation for quality education at Robertson, and is an essential piece of the Quality Assurance framework.
The Education Consultant for Instructor Observations will be responsible for completing observations of instructors at one of our campus locations : Calgary, Edmonton, or Winnipeg.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Director, Teaching and Learning, the Education Consultant is a member of the Education team and is responsible for providing timely, transparent, and fair observation feedback to instructors in all schools.
The Consultant advances the Centre’s purpose : to provide a strong foundation for quality education at Robertson. The Consultant supports, models, and enacts the guiding principles of the Centre that are based on adult learning principles and best practices in training and vocational education.

Observations are assigned through a running list of current course offerings; the number of observations per week is the decision of the consultant, as long as the assigned observations are completed in a timely manner and the ‘deliverable’ number of observations is completed during the contract period.

Remuneration for the Contract : dependent upon the number of observations completed.
