  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4-5 analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Set strategic goals for the analytics team, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, risk, sales and operations, and Engineering to support data-driven decision-making.

Analytics & Insights

  • Drives efforts to introduce innovative methods that create efficiency in core work and enable reporting and analytics to be reusable, self-service, directed to meaningful interpretation of data, and capable of driving business decisions and impact across teams.
  • Develop and implement advanced analytics methods to optimize portfolio management and digital banking operations.
  • Provide actionable insights through data analysis, predictive modeling techniques.
  • Lead Pricing, Acquisition, Retention, Profitability and overall portfolio performance analytics.
  • Oversee the design and deployment of dashboards, reports, and visualizations to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Explore, define and standardize our business and product KPIs and metrics and provide efficient and meaningful reporting capabilities across the organization.
  • Provide guidance around A / B testing measurement to ensure results are reliable, valid, and accurate.
  • Build our capabilities and process maturity to improve integrity and quality of our data assets through data stewardship, validation and monitoring of our most critical operational reporting.

Training & Development

  • Hire and train data analysts in the latest analytical tools, technologies, and best practices.
  • Promote a culture of data literacy and analytical excellence across the organization.
  • Stay abreast of financial industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the analytics function.

Strategic Initiatives

  • Lead initiatives to improve customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value through data-driven strategies.
  • Support the development of personalized banking experiences and targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on thorough data analysis and insights.
  • Lead business case / financial analysis development and post implementation analysis of business results for all new initiatives for bank.
  • Effectively manage multiple programs and initiatives concurrently.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field (Master’s or PhD are a plus).
  • Proficiency in analytical tools and programming languages and / or data management tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, and SAS, AWS Redshift, etc.
  • Ability to articulate and apply a methodical framework to solve problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to communicate sophisticated business and technical concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff, tailoring messages and stories to the appropriate audience.
  • Ability to think laterally and find innovative solutions to support strategy.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with partners with diverse points of view, build consensus, and establish credibility and rapport with a broad set of partners quickly.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Strong knowledge of statistical modeling (experience in predictive analytics is desirable).

Years and Range of Experience Required to Perform the Job :

  • 8+ years of experience in analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing and developing high-performing analytics teams.
  • Proven experience in data analytics, with a focus on financial, operational and statistical analysis, and data visualization.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Experience with Product event data analysis tools (Mixpanel, Interana, Amplitude or similar) is a plus.
