Personal Lines and Autoplan Advisor - InsureBC (University) Insurance Services

The Personal Lines and Autoplan Advisor’s primary focus is to provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines and Autoplan policies and take responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quote and place new business as required.

Ideal candidate should be able to communicate in Mandarin

Our UBC office is looking for a FULL TIME or PART TIME experienced Personal Lines & Autoplan Agent to join our Team!!

The Personal Lines and Autoplan Advisor’s primary focus is to provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines and Autoplan policies and take responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quote and place new business as required.

Ideal candidate should be able to communicate in Mandarin.

Duties & Responsibility

  • Responsible to help with ICBC walk-in clients, ICBC Batching and Stock Orders
  • Manage a book of business and strong client relationships through contact via phone, letters and emails
  • Manage and process policy renewals on a timely basis and maintain high levels of client retention
  • Provide insurance quotations by engaging with clients to determine their needs and provide expert advise to ensure the best coverage for them
  • Support clients with their Claims Process
  • Assist other staff as needed and perform other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Must have a Level 1 license (Level 2 license is an asset) and minimum of 6 Months working experience
  • Must be Fluent in English and be able to speak / communicate in Mandarin Chinese
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills with good verbal and written communication
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Experience and working knowledge with Microsoft Office (Word / Excel)
  • Experience and working knowledge with various insurance company broker portals for policy inquiries & quoting
  • Working knowledge with Power Broker and Applied Rating is an asset
