The Role

The Learning & Development Coordinator is responsible for keeping Southland’s training programs relevant, practical, and easy to execute. You will maintain and evolve existing learning programs, translate ideas into usable training materials, and ensure content reflects how work is actually done in our plants.

This role works closely with coaches and subject matter experts to support leadership development, coordinate training delivery, and manage learning content within Dayforce. You’ll be hands-on in classrooms, on the shop floor, and behind the scenes building structure around how we develop our people.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and improve existing Learning & Development programs, with a strong focus on leadership development
• Turn high-level ideas into clear, practical, trainable content
• Keep training materials aligned with current and upcoming plant operations and processes
• Deliver training confidently in classroom and shop-floor environments
• Upload, organize, and maintain content in Dayforce Learning
• Support coaches with Dayforce and Dayforce Learning usage
• Respond to learning-related questions with a customer-service mindset
