Assembler
Summary of the role
The assembler assembles aircraft interiors and / or parts, such as cabins, bins, galleys, lavatories and sidewalls etc. and builds sub-assemblies for the completion of aircraft interior structures, and / or parts using engineering drawings, company and customer specifications.
Tasks of the role
- Builds sub-assemblies of parts and structures, aircraft components, such as aluminum extrusions, fiberglass laminates and various materials.
- Fills and seals surfaces as required according to established specifications or customer limitations.
- Installs trim and applies lamination material.
- Assembles sub-components of structures or units.
- Assembles aircraft structures and units, such as : Binds and secures subcomponents to structure or unit.
- Attaches operating equipment, plumbing and some electrical components.
- Handles and moves raw material and fabricated parts with care to ensure integrity and quality are not compromised during handling.
Job Requirements
Education : High school diploma or equivalentExperience : 0-3 years' related experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.Other Skills : Ability to read engineering drawings is preferred.Locate your future workplace
