Do you confident in your abilities to perform electrical and mechanical diagnostics as well as swapping clutches, transmissions, and differentials?

If so, I'd love to hear from you! A local automotive machine shop that specializes in out-of-warranty work and the remanufacturing of brake and powertrain components is looking for an experienced 310T Truck & Transport mechanic to join their Service Team.
Permanent Position
Schedule : Monday to Friday daytime 8am - 430pm
Salary : $40 per hour

Responsibilities
As a ticketed Truck and Transport Mechanic, a normal day would include :
- Participate in tool box talks to start the day
- Reviewing open work orders
- Assisting Jr Techs to increase efficiency and workflow
- Performing vehicle inspections to identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Using specialized diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot more complex problems
- Carry out routine preventative and out-of-warranty corrective maintenance
- Complete safety inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed
- Utilizing strong communication skills to explain vehicle issues to other mechanics and customers
Qualifications
Qualifications :
- 310T Truck and Transport journeyman ticket
- Own toolbox
- Able to perform safeties
- Class 1 driver license is a strong asset
- Ability to left 60lbs safely
- Ability to work as a team or individual
- Need to be legally able to work in Canada
