4th Year Apprentice / Journeryperson Plumber

Wildstone is a General Contractor currently looking for a 4th Year Apprentice or Journeyperson Plumber to join our Mechanical team. Here are the types of projects we work on – Wastewater / Water Treatment Plants, Energy and institutional projects, new multi-family builds, and commercial builds.

You’ll travel for work to locations throughout BC, the Yukon and occasionally the Northwest Territories. Our crews typically work 21 / 7 rotations, travel in and out of various locations, work 10-hour shifts on average, and enjoy the comforts of home in well-maintained crew houses.

In this role, you’ll work independently, collaborate with skilled tradespeople, and support our Journeyperson Plumbers as you continue to learn the trade.

Responsibilities :

• Build, assemble, install, repair, and maintain mechanical systems.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Layout equipment and pipe routes.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, solder, groove, crimp, and glue piping systems.
• Ensure proper tools for job are assembled at the work site.
• Understand proper installation methods of pipe systems and related equipment.
• Proper care and handling of equipment used on site.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Take direction from Team Leads / Journeyperson Plumbers
