The Licensed Tradesperson maintains, diagnoses, tests, and repairs the material handling equipment (MHE) (e.g., conveyors, gear boxes rollers, drive unit, hydraulic and pneumatics systems, etc.) to ensure equipment is operating with minimal downtime in compliance with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities
- Conduct regular preventative / predictive maintenance on material handling equipment (MHE) (e.g., conveyors, gear boxes rollers, drive unit, hydraulic and pneumatics systems, etc.) to maintain equipment in a good state of repair in compliance with health and safety standards
- Diagnose and repair Material Handling Equipment mechanical or electrical failures to ensure equipment is operating with minimal downtime to reduce downstream impact to service delivery
- Inspect and monitor Material Handling Equipment and related facilities
- Prepare and maintain reports (e.g., safety, operational)
- Coordinate and document work orders in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
Education
Completion of Specialized Courses Normally Taught in Community or Recognized Specialty Colleges Consisting of About Three Academic YearsFor electrician roles, a Licensed Industrial Electrician Certificate442A) is requiredExperience
