Please note that the compensation range listed includes base salary and potential incentive pay. Summary
Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Marketing Manager, Web plays a key role in driving Web performance and the digital customer experience for Enercare Home Services across Canada. This includes web development understanding, keyword and content strategy, local SEO, and optimizing organic traffic for consumer outcomes. The role involves analyzing data and trends for key insights and opportunities, driving enhancements to our user experience, along with collaborating with our digital agency on CRO, copywriting, and A / B testing.

Key Responsibilities
- SEO and Local SEO : Lead the efforts to optimize SEO strategies, including local SEO, link-building, Google Business Profiles (GBPs), and ensuring accurate listings on directories and maps.
- Lead Generation : Drive effective lead generation for product, service, and offer pages through SEO. Work on conversion rate optimization (CRO) improvements and strive to meet monthly digital targets while enhancing user experience (UX).
- Performance Measurement : Identify, measure and report on the performance of SEO and local SEO KPIs including traffic, engagement, and keyword ranking.
- CRO and A / B testing : Collaborate with Insights team on CRO and A / B testing opportunities.
- Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams and our digital agency to optimize SEO strategies. This involves collaborating on various aspects of website management, including content changes, page builds, customer journeys, buy flows, campaign updates, dynamic content, component design, and wireframes. When necessary, you will create detailed briefs for webpages, ensuring they include all relevant keywords, meta tags, and other essential elements. Your collaboration extends beyond Marketing to other teams involved in digital projects.
- Development Oversight : Review development work from external agencies and internal teams to ensure accuracy, functionality, and alignment with marketing goals. Provide clear requirements, spot errors, and offer actionable feedback. Be prepared to learn new platforms (e.g., Typeform), write development requirements and build out customer journeys and interactive experiences.
- User Experience : Collaborate on creating web pages and optimizing user experience and conversion, especially for mobile, on Enercare.ca along with regional / local websites.
- Analytics : Utilize strong analytical abilities to evaluate the end-to-end customer experience and ultimately drive superior business outcomes.
- Trends, Insights and Optimization : stay at the forefront of emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact on marketing efforts. Additionally, identify trends and insights, ensuring that strategies remain data-driven and optimized for success.
- Accessibility : Follow, implement, and adhere to AODA requirements.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years in digital marketing with a focus on website optimization.Proficiency with GSC, GA4, VWO, Adthena, SEMRush, or similar platforms to enhance SEO and overall website performance.Strong knowledge of digital channel best practices, including content marketing, SEO, local SEO, GBPs, CRO, A / B testing, AODA compliance, and site speed optimization.Hands‑on understanding of web front‑end languages (HTML5, CSS), standards, and best practices.Experience with customer journey mapping and translating it into successful webpages.Ability to identify KPIs, collaborate with the Insights and Analytics team for reporting, critically analyze data, and provide actionable recommendations.Demonstrate strong execution and project management skills, collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment while leading SEO and local SEO initiatives.Experience with WordPress, Gravity Forms, call tracking, web chat, Adobe Photoshop, brief writing, and copywriting.Knowledge of search intent, purchasing behavior and UX.Demonstrated experience in developing consumer acquisition and engagement initiatives.Critical and creative thinking skills to address challenges.Highly motivated, self‑directed, and driven.Bachelor’s degree and Google Analytics certified are considered assets.Enercare is an equal opportunity employer.
