Responsibilities :
- Keep records of equipment inspections
- Check if the anesthesia depth is suitable for the operation
- Coordinates the timely repair and maintenance of anesthesia equipment
- Restocks and sets up anesthesia equipment in the Surgical and Labor / Delivery suites, including restocking items used by Anesthesiologist
- Washes and disinfects anesthesia equipment including tubes, nasal airways, stethoscope, face masks, and intubation equipment
- Acquires anesthesia equipment and supplies for surgical procedures and workroom
- Assists in room turnover by procuring and assembling anesthesia equipment and supplies for each anesthesia care.
- Clean, sterilize, disinfect, stock, order, and maintain routine anesthesia equipment and supplies
- May transport patients to surgery, explaining procedures to patients
- Clean, sterilize, test, and calibrate anesthesia equipment
