Location: Calgary, AB

SOUTHLAND has an immediate opening for a Parts Person based in Calgary. This role is expected to assist technicians with parts needs by providing timely support and updates. The Parts Person also maintains a professional relationship with other staff members and drivers. This is a full time position, working Monday through Friday from 7:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Order parts and process PO's
• Perform regular cycle counts
• Keep parts department organized
• Provide daily updates on parts on order
• Have a good understanding of stocking levels
• Basic knowledge of performing yearly inventories/reports

Knowledge and Skills Required

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Ability to multi-task
• Organization and scheduling skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Team player
• Self-motivated
• Parts knowledge
• Mechanically inclined
