Health & Safety Leader

We are currently seeking a Health & Safety Leader, based in Saint John, NB, to support and strengthen our Health & Safety Program across all branches and work sites nationwide.

As a Health & Safety Leader, you will:

• Champion Petro Service’s corporate Health & Safety vision, mission, and strategy across all locations.
• Provide timely guidance, training, and technical support on Occupational Health & Safety matters.
• Collaborate with HSE team members and business units to develop, update, and implement policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Act as a technical resource in the development and evaluation of new and existing Health & Safety programs.
• Monitor industry trends, legislation, and best practices to support continuous improvement.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor reporting systems to measure performance against HSE objectives.
• Manage and facilitate Health & Safety audits as required.
• Assess effectiveness of existing safety processes and recommend updates.
• Conduct and/or assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Support communication and promotion activities such as newsletters and bulletins.
• Work with operations teams to ensure inspections of offices, warehouses, and projects.
• Facilitate and maintain COR certifications across Canada.

• Perform other safety-related duties.

Required Competencies:

• Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety, CRSP, NCSO, or similar (asset)
• Post‑secondary education.
• Experience in petroleum and/or construction is an asset.
• Strong understanding of Canadian H&S regulations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
