Pharmacist - Bowser (British Columbia)

Position : Pharmacist

Site : Bowser Pharmacy

Location : 112 - 6996 Island Hwy W, Bowser BC

Job Type : Regular, Full-Time

Pay : $65-$75 Hourly

Pharmacy Hours :

Mon-Fri : 9 : 30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Sat : 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Sun : Closed

About the Role

Mint Health + Drugs is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join our dynamic and growing team. Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Degree
  • Licensed with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia in good standing
  • Current CPR Certification Valid in British Columbia
  • Drug Administration by Injection is an asset
  • ISTM is an asset
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and dispense drugs
  • Assess new and repeat prescriptions
  • Consistently apply medication management principles
  • Educate patients on medication use
  • Monitor patient progress
  • Document and maintain accurate records
  • Oversee and mentor pharmacy staff
  • Promote healthy living and immunization programs
  • Handle customer concerns and complaints
  • Communicate with customers and other healthcare professionals
  • Experience & Skills

  • Ability to adhere to regulatory compliance
  • Strong organizational and operational oversight skills
  • Expertise in medication management and patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in managing pharmacy inventory and financials
  • Knowledge of Kroll system is considered an asset
