The Gund Company Canada has an immediate opening for a full-time Composites Operator I to join our team!

Shift : First Shift – 7 : 30 am to 4 : 00 pm, Monday through Friday

Hourly Wage : Starting at $24.00

Work Location : Fergus, Ontario (Canada)

Job Summary

As a Composites Operator I, you will play a key role in supporting production operations, ensuring that parts are fabricated to meet work order specifications and customer requirements. This includes setting up and operating machinery that pultrudes raw materials into forms and shapes, monitoring the equipment, keeping materials stocked, and adhering to safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Form shapes of materials using various manufacturing equipment
• Select and install machine components, such as dies, spacers, shims and / or stops according to specifications, using hand tools and measuring devices
• Package and / or skid finished materials as per work order instructions
• Record and maintain production data
• Clean dies and molds, using scrapers, brushes, scotch pads or air hoses
• Other duties as assigned
