Procurement Coordinator
Professional Staffing has partnered with an Alberta Construction company to secure a Construction Procurement Coordinator for an immediate 4 6 month contract to assist with a project.
For this large-scale project, the Procurement Coordinator will be issuing and overseeing the Purchase orders, issuing change orders, setting up MSAs, and maintaining cost control and cash flow.
Reporting to the Operations Manager this position will be 100% office based in Sherwood Park.
Responsibilities :
- Materials purchasing, building a vendor list and negotiating Terms, Conditions and Contracts
- Support Estimators and PMs with timely delivery and cost analysis
- Tracking and implementing exceptions, change orders from awarding of bid through to project close-out
- Costing and Cash flow analysis
- Handling the RFI, RFP and Bids for Tenders
- Coordination with Accounts Payable, and Billing to ensure pricing and terms are aligned with Contract terms
Qualifications
- 3+ years in a Cost Control or Project procurement role for materials
- Construction, manufacturing or O&G industry experience
- 3+ years of Construction Contract Terms & Conditions, MSA’s
- Experience with Project Close-outs
- Experience with the RFI, RFP and Construction Bid Process
- Ability to commute to Sherwood Park daily
