Our client is a mid-sized consulting engineering and geoscience company with multiple offices across BC. They are looking to hire a Project Engineer / Manager for their Salmon Arm, BC location.

The Project Engineer / Manager (Municipal Engineering) will play a crucial role in the Salmon Arm Office, collaborating with municipalities to deliver successful projects through a motivated and dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will oversee projects in their entire life cycle, from initial proposal stages through planning, design, construction, and project commissioning.
Role Responsibilities :
- Lead project management and detailed engineering design for subdivision, land development, municipal, site servicing, and stormwater management projects.
- Prepare contract documents for tendering and execution.
- Manage projects and administer contracts.
- Develop construction cost estimates.
- Collaborate closely with the Provincial municipal engineering manager in areas such as business development and strategic planning.
- Mentor and develop junior employees.
- Utilize working knowledge of MMCD.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and clients.
- Thrive in a multi-disciplinary environment.
The successful candidate has :
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering.
- Registration with EGBC as a P.Eng.
- Experience in designing various land development infrastructures, including water supply systems, sewage systems, roads, stormwater management, and site servicing.
Compensation and benefits :
- The discussed salary range is $100,000 $125,000 depending on experience.
