ZO1 Ltd is a progressive architectural firm specializing in small to large-scale, high-density and multi-phase developments from concept design to construction completion.

We are a group of passionate architects who has extensive design and development experience in the Greater Toronto Area.

Our portfolio of work is diverse. We are currently working on a wide range of projects from low to high-rise to large scale urban intensification development.

Most of our projects are working directly with established developers in the Greater Toronto Area.

Qualifications :

• Min 5 years’ experience in architectural design focusing on façade and master plan design in Ontario / GTA context. Experience and expertise particularly in high density residential, hotel projects design.
• Successfully graduated of Architecture program, we support successful candidate to be OAA licensed but not essential for this position
• Able to communicate concept by sketches and develop in Revit.
• Can lead to produce final presentation such as materials palette, rendering style / touch up, presentation plans / diagrams
• Proficient in Photoshop and Enscape
• Able to take the lead to prepare façade design and master plan design independently. Ability to work well on a team format for production of presentation / Rezoning, SPA submission
• Able to organize the design brief by understanding client brief, research on various bylaws, OBC and urban design principles / guidelines.
• Able to communicate with clients, consultants and internal team members
• Dedicated to meeting project deadlines
• Excellent time management skills. Able to manage a number of tasks on multiple projects simultaneously
• Able to provide and receive feedback positively
• Precise attention to detail for final deliverables independently.

Responsibilities and Duties :

• Able to produce sketches for master plan and façade design to communicate design concept how to design brief, bylaws requirement and urban design principles are met and materials use for façade.
• Preparation of design drawings for various types of residential, hotel and commercial projects in Revit and Enscape
• Understand roles of various consultants in a Rezoning and SPA submission. Able to coordinate with consulting engineers and landscape architects
• Possess a working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code (OBC), Bylaws, client brief, and urban design principles and can complete analysis on projects for compliance.
• Proficient knowledge in the use of building materials and related construction techniques
• Must be capable of working on multiple projects at on time.
• Able to produce and manage statistic for Rezoning / SPA submission along with the design development
• Assist with applications for planning approvals and building permits
