Position Type / Schedule :

This role will be based out of our Head Office at 19295 25 Avenue, Surrey BC. This is a full-time 40-hour / week position.

An option for a hybrid working solution is available in three months.

About the role :

The Pricing Coordinator handles daily tasks in the Pricing Department, including product pricing updates, uploading product attributes in the ERP system, responding to inquiries, updating special pricing agreements, and performing month-end rebates and reconciliation.

This role supports data governance best practices across the organization. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, analytical, and customer service-oriented.

This position offers a unique chance to work cross-divisionally and build relationships with internal and external customers.

The Pricing Coordinator is a full-time role with a hybrid (remote / office) option after the probation period and reports to the Pricing Supervisor.

What are the Key Accountabilities?

  • Item & SPA Setup & Maintenance
  • Follows SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for all items’ pricing issues
  • Reviews and loads item pricing and item information into the ERP system (Prophet 21)
  • Maintains and updates pricing from local, national, and international suppliers in the ERP system (Prophet 21)
  • Ensures data accuracy and consistency across multiple products and categories
  • Regularly reviews new, temporary, and regular products as necessary
  • Monitors SPA (Special Pricing Agreements), loads, verifies the changes, and answers inquiries
  • Creates supporting documents for EBH Sales Reps and other colleagues Rebate & Reconciliation
  • Maintains the accuracy of rebates on regular or temporary items
  • Reviews discrepancies, reconciles and processes monthly rebates
  • Maintains record-keeping for all variances and works with the appropriate party to resolve issues
  • Collaborates with Accounts Payable through the Ship & Credit / Debit process by providing needed information

Other Duties :

The role may involve aiding team members and other stakeholders with various tasks, projects, and process upkeep to fulfill the Pricing department and company's strategic goals.

Communication

  • Answers inquiries and troubleshoots issues regarding product pricing and attributes
  • Communicates and notifies price changes to internal staff and broadcasts on EBH’s intranet
  • Works closely with our branch sales teams and purchasing to improve data quality

Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborates with Sales, Purchasing, and Suppliers to maximize margin and mitigate loss due to inaccuracy and inefficiencies associated with pricing
  • Engages in continuous improvement reviews and provides recommendations, and solutions, and supports ideas and initiatives
  • Participates in the development, creation, and improvement in the Pricing department

What You’ll Bring to This Role?

  • 2+ years of experience working with databases or ERP
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Advanced computer skills with high proficiency in Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose the best solutions
  • Proven ability to form strategic partnerships, build relationships, and respect cultural diversity
  • Ability to be inclusive, respectful, and collaborative
